Xonotic

Hi all,

The eLeMenT server is very nice, probably the best European server I've ever played on. But I think it could be much better as a Xonotic server, with features like worldwide speedcap records & client-side models/notifications (much less lag).
I know it may be hard for some of the older players to switch due to the different physics, but they just need a good popular server to properly try it on & see the improvement in real matches.

I suggest starting an eLeMenT Xonotic server (I can help set it up), but keep the Nexuiz server running with a notification/map letting players know the Xonotic server is being setup.

I wouldn't mind changing, but idk there aren't a lot of ctf minsta players on Xonotic.

Hopefully a lot of minsta players would move with this server. I have a map which shows a message that the server has moved to Xonotic, with a few pictures of it & a download link, this could be added to the Nexuiz server to let players know.

Hmmmm i don't know....I hate the hook physics in Xonotic^^ But if the whole clan would change to Xonotic...why not, because u can get used to these settings as well

i like minsta-ctf in xonotic. when i was playing it, i was better than on nexuiz and i kinda like the hook physics

same here i would change if all change but the hook physics aren't my love. But it would be our server, if we do one, we can do the hook settings different. couldnt we?
but his should sb say who can handle the server and we should deside all.

Xonotic has implemented a statistic mode ... Xonotic Stats

You only have to add this line in your server.cfg:

Don't expect me to play it guys.. I tried minsta on su's server, I liked it, but Xonotic is just good for racing atm. imho. I don't like playing any different as my fps sucks. At school we have elitebooks and in our time off at school we may use it for lan Xonotic games, and there I totally rule of course, but at this craptop.. Don't expect it. I stay FULLY at Nexuiz 'till I got a fucking new PC.

Well freak his drive broke so we wont be able to descuss it untill its fixed. But yes its as soon as possible i will also ask all our members personally that way it goes faster because some dont really watch the forum :/
