mapping help

Guys I have some issues with my mapping...

Somehow I can not get my 3D view have a deep depth. It somehow cuts the view off (slices). This makes it hard to get overall 3d picture in mapping. I looked around in settings... but no result.

Anyone???

Hm i understand it but its normal actually. I have it to.

He means when you move around in the 3D window you have a black 'fog' that makes you unable to view the complete map at once.

I'll look into it for a solution and get back to you on this.

I had the problem too cause there was a CTRL+.... that made that... but i am sorry i don't remember the button, let me check and i will tell you, but vega will be faster i guess ;p

Press '4' to open preferences.

From there you follow this path: preferences -> settings -> camera

Here you uncheck the box enable far-clip plane

Ghost, This is netradiant, http://www.xonotic.org/download/ where u can make maps for xono and nex. Vega wrote a tutorial on this in the level above this thread. Try IT
