[School] Changing (minsta)gunmodel

As requested i will show here how to change your minstagunmodel, this is only if servers use the default model. Servers as nightflight or thebadasschoobs have server based gunmodels so there you wont have the one we will set here.

Step 1: Downloading a gunmodel
Before you can change your gunmodel you ofcourse need the gunmodel. So lets go and download one, this can be one out of the following list or from somewhere else if you know a good website to download from.

Step 2: Getting the model into nexuiz
Now to put the model into nexuiz you have to go to your data folder: \nexuiz\data. If you cant find this you can stop reading here. For the people that did find that folder good job! Now just place the model file (a .pk3 file) into the data folder. Open up Nexuiz and you are done!

i always use a fov of 130 but i can play with all fov (i am just less good ! ).

I download the Rmod but i don't have the same gun model as the picture. why ? S&CO said me you must type a command in the consol but he doesn't remember ! Can you help me please ?

Did you restart your nexuiz?

I changed some sounds on the q3 railgun...Especially the laser sound is relaxed... Try it.

Hey guys, some time there I guess;P
I don't know if I will be playing in the future so I want to share with you my collection of my own and other minsta gunmodels. It includes the already known ones (the railgun, Rmod, prophets guns), my own guns, which I have modelled myself, screenshots from the clanwar vs Nude Dudes from my point of view and 2 of my configs. Also, I have included a newer (more optimized) version of the xonotic nex gunmodel, making it 12 mb versus the previous 22 mb. Finally there is a .blend file for my last project if out there is anyone eager to continue developing it. Not sure why I included the configs, but if you want to, use them, delete them, etc   .

regular nexgun with the railgun shot sound
camping rifle converted to minsta
camping rifle to minsta but pushed a little backwards (can be helpful sometimes)
xonotic nexgun with the railgun shot sound
