Just Spam? then. NAMES?

this is just a stupid question to all of you but its just spam so who cares. How did you come up with your nicks? (if it's your real name then, lets leave it as that ) me personally when i was choosing name i saw an O in my maths book hence Number Zero my previous one Lum!nous. I used that name since i started playing games at 10 so why the hell not (PS the ! i got from after being in Emp ! re) and you might see me around as [XBP]XonBestPlayer. ofc im not, i was jsut trolling with hydra

Vega actually comes from my older brother. As most of you know i playd a few years Nexuiz before moving to Xonotic. My older brother actually showed me Nexuiz years before i was 'allowed' to play it. He playd under the name vega but quit playing pretty fast. None the less i was very thankfull he showed me the game and a few years later, when i started playing Nexuiz, i choose his name as mine kinda as thankyou for showing me the game.

An other name i use sometimes is Pat!ence. I got this name out of irony cause i'm actually really impatient x)

I remember Dr.X to be one of the villains of some cartoon I watched when I was a kid, I can't find the cartoon now.
Anyway when I was 12 my first email address was drx@....it, and I'd use it to register to forums, where I'd set my nick as doctor_x to remember it. Since then that's been my nick.

I was studying Mechanical Engineering, and it must have been around 1998/99 or so. I was actually not really studying, i was drinking beer, smoking weed, having fun with girls, listening to minimal techno all day (especially the Belgium Starfishpool) and play Quake. In those days ICQ was a popular chat program. So you register, and on the spot u need a good name....

KwakkieZalf, where Kwakkie is actually in dutch a slang for a little seminal fluid (or also a  stain). And to top it off, i figured, make it a Lotion, which "zalf" means in dutch.....

Those were the days.... that was my nick........

Hm, my name is actually spelling error ... I was going to call me "Schicksal" what is the german word for destiny.
And accidentally I wrote an "o" instead of an "i" ... So it's now a mix of "Schicksal" --> "Destiny" and "Schock" --> "shock"

My name comes from Icarus, which is some dude in Greek mythology. Icarus was already taken in some game, so I had to change it, and it became Icairus. When in some other game that was taken too, name turned into its current form, Icair. I hate it now after like 10 years, but Im really bad with names and so im kinda stuck with this. :p

lets talk about my Nick. As you know is Ghost most popular Nick and i take it because my litte Brother give it me, after i was scarring him )) but my first and longest Nick i another games was Daytona.
I change it after my last Motorcycle Crash on Nürburgring
Daytona is from Motorcycle Triumph Daytona that i has/ have now but not drive. Daytona is a company who makes many nice thinks fror Drivers and Triumph is a Motorcycle Company.
I don't ask it in the forum because i see you all like the ghost nick, but if you want i can change it back to Daytona.
