Kickban and permban?

Right now the kickban command bans you pretty much for ever. Should i change the kickban for just one day and make a new command called permban (=permanent ban) that actually bans you for ever. I think the difference is big when banning somebody and some reasons deserve a ban but not a permanent one. Let me know what you think

I guess that should be good to create two commands : permban and ban. As that, if somebody do something and we need to ban him we do that for a certain time and if he do that again and again... we parmban him. It's my point of view

But if you then ban somebody please make a post of it on the forum in the ban list section just so we can keep track of the ips and reasons

i like the idea but 1 day is nothing.
1 or 2 weeks of ban, then on strike 2 PERMABAN!
but this requires a poll on what to call the permaban.

So plans have changed, kickban now bans you for 1 day. There is however an option to ban somebody for a specific time, reason,... For that you need to login with rcon. The down part of that is taht you can change anything with rcon about the server... Therefor i dont like giving it to everybody. Probably waschi, kwakkie and myself will have the rcon and abbility to ban people for an other ammount of time. The person that gets banned like that will be also banned on the ND servers automatic
