config on windows

hey all, i just switched to windows after 6 years of linux.
i'm trying to get to
Nexuiz/data/config.cfg
in order to insert my old configuration from linux, so i won't need to re-type all settings, username etc...
where is this folder in windows?

I have windows 7 and the config.cfg is in [folder where you have installed nexuiz]\Nexuiz\data\

here is the deal, i haven't installed anything.
i just downloaded a folder and run the program, but i have nothing installed...

hm i think i also installed nothing, i also only download it.
but in this folder wich i have downloaded there was the config.cfg at the path wich i said.

dr.x just download a fresh copy from alientrap.org and copy and paste your old config.cfg in /nexuiz/data. I would also recommend you to copy your data20091001.zip file to there.

i copied here already the config.cfg file, way before msking this post
still when u run it u are Player!
I'm gonna smash the keyboard very soon
the data20091001.zip is gone!

btw, the same applies to maps, if i download maps in this folder i still see them as black (i.e. distonic on prophets)

yes your names are saved in the data20091001.zip file and almost everything else to. This is one of the most important files in your nexuiz folder.

About the maps, did you download a new copy of nexuiz? If so try to delete the blackmaps in your dlcache and redownload them.
