Where is our IRC channel?
Recently i joined #element.ctf and nobody is in there, not even the Q bot. What happened?
EDIT:
After checking other channels i'm normally a part off (like #xonotic) i also don't see any mods or the Q bot. Might be a bug or a problem on Quakenets side of things?

I think it's just a glitch of 'server selection'. I noticed when i didn't see anybody in the chats that i was on a different quakenet server than i'm usually on. Not sure why different servers would make a difference but that's the only difference i noticed. If that is the problem however it can't be solved since it's the client selecting a server.

Re: Where is our IRC channel?
yea it was probably netsplit. means that quakenet server you connected had lost connection to other quakenet servers and so you cant see people connected to those other servers. it happens sometimes and it is server problems so it gets fixed automatically usually pretty fast

What also happened to me is to select the wrong network (another than quakenet like IRCnet)
Then in those others network channels like our (element.ctf) doesn't exist as we are on quakenet
Hope I did not repeated something that someone already said :p

No you said something new But yes indeed we created our channel in the Quakenet network so in any of the other networks our channel doesn't exist. Inside every network you can select different servers though so for Quakenet for example there are servers like irc.quakenet.org, irc.se.quakenet.org, irc.dk.quakenet.org and so on. Most programs autoselect a server inside the quakenet network so don't worry to much about that. Only if you are inside the correct network and you can't see our channel you might try to find how to switch servers because then you have the 'netsplit' problem that i had (which is not your own fault but the fault of the server you're on).
