Some changes planned for the server in the future:
- Delete some of the bad maps;
- Change the score for flagreturn from 5 to 3; [done]
- Change the score for flagcarrierkill from 5 to 7; [done]
- Fix the friendlyfire command; [done]
- Make the server run from git;
- Make TDM a master only command; [done]
- Fix the hookfragging so it makes a sound when your hook breaks;
- Add an extra banmethod (not sure how to do this yet)
- Add a method to force spectating
- Change the botcolors

If you got any suggestions for a future server update be sure to let me know here. Also when you dissagree with any of the future updates listen above, be sure to let me know as well.

Maybe find a way to have a timeout command, something to force a player to spectate for a certain amount of time. Like for things that arent bad enough for a ban, but things that ruin the game. The idea came to me when bokchoy wasnt getting any of the maps he wanted so he would grab the flag and intentionally not cap even when his flag was returned.

Hmm i'll check it out, timeout should work if we update to 0.8.1 i think. Forcing a player to spec i'm not sure f that will work. Ofcourse kicking people is always allowed with situations like that. You have the masterpass to do so Smile None the less i'll look into it.

Also why deleting maps ? People likes to have variants gameplays

Yes but there are some versions of maps right now that are bugged and there are maps that are in there more than once :p

The return is'because people complain about it that they din't get enough points. The default for a return is 10 points and we have 5 points right now. So its only a minor change, shouldn.t impact the scores to much..

I know that, that's why i don't make it 10 as in default Wink

We could indeed do it like this as well:

Guys,

I made some small modifications to our server config.
I added votes
- vcall shuffleteams
- vcall nextmap mapname

Still did not get the friendly fire on/off to work....

Is it also possible that when you hook and you shoot secondary fire on your own hook that it doesnt unhook?
Because when you hook and you shoot at your own hook it does unhook, and its a little bit annoying...

Pati,

In the way we have it now, indeed u'r own hook will unhook if u second fire it. As far as I know, this will always be the case... no matter which method.

About friendly fire maybe this helps or you already know:

teamplay_mode 4 // default teamplay setting in team games. 1 = no friendly fire, self damage. 2 = friendly fire and self damage enabled. 3 = no friendly fire, but self damage enabled. 4 = obey the cvars g_mirrordamage*, g_friendlyfire* and g_teamdamage_threshold*

g_friendlyfire = Percentage of damage that will be added to teamplayers
g_mirrordamage = Percentage of teamdamage that will be mirrored to you

Xeon, thanks to u'r help i got it working...

u can now vote
vcall friendlyfire_off and friendlyfire_on

with "on" u can kill u'r teammate, with "off" u cant.

We also changed the scoring en forced megaerbus model from server.....

TDM mode is not votable anymore, just possible with use of master pw

Thats it for now....

So, I saw for a long time that the accuracy reported for the stats is lower than showed in game but did not realized that is only our server and all loose elo because of that.

Secondairy fire indeed is the issue. Updating to 0.8.1. would also solve the issue.

Who was looking to get Git version running? Otherwise i will make an upgrade to 0.8.1 soon
