Worth upgrading old PC?
I have an old Davio system ( my old faithful PC on which i played nexuiz until it got broken ) which now has a broken HDD. I'm gonna fix it this winter. But then i'd also like to replace some parts here and there.
My specs are :
- Intel C2D E6750 @ stock 2.66
- nVidia 8600GT 512MB DDR3
- a broken 320GB WD HDD
- 2GB RAM DDR2
I want to replace the E6750 with an E8500, the 8600GT with a GT630 or HD4850 and upgrade to 4GB of RAM. Is it worth doing this, or i'd better buy a new machine?
P.S. : Standalone PCs here in Romania are sold at overrated prices for some crap hardware.

No. Standard PCs are better than your PC but not better than my old PC
