Bot names

I was thinking about something a lot of people have told me in the past years about the bots in our server. When people first join our server they are often confused by our bot names, since they use our actual names. There is a bot called vega, kwakkiezalf, abc etc. This got me thinking today about how we can change them. Using the default names sounds boring so I found 3 other options:

The first one I came up with is one that would give us 100+ botnames if we want: the periodic table. We don't have to use all 100+, but use like the first 20 as our bot names. It's a reference to the clan, gives us a lot of name possibilities and it doesn't use our own names.

The second option that gives us some interesting bot names are the 5 elements of Chinese mythologie. This would give our bots the following names: 木, 火, 土, 金 and 水. Which means wood, fire, earth, metal and water. Personally i like the mysterie of these names but it would limit our bot names to 5 possibilities.

Japanese mythologie has a similar approach to Chinese mythologie. They have the following: 風, 水, 空, 火 and 地. Which means air, water, void, fire and earth. Again I love the mysterie of these names but it would limit our bot names to 5 possibilities.

What do you guys think?

Actually its nice bots have our names, its unusuall but also I get why it is the problem. Anyway these 2 options with mythologies seems cool

Most members don't seem to care because they come on the forum and don't even vote And I share the idea with you that having our own names is unusual and fun, but it just causes confusion. But love it that you find those mythological ideas also cool

I like the elements....from the periodic table with the numbers, zo like [27] CO or [1] H

I voted for periodic table names. Japanese and chinese names are cool too, but little annoying because i cant read them

So that makes two voted for the mythological and two for the periodic table

And what if i can somehow make the chinese/japanese symbols a color resembling their element? so for example the air symbol would be white, void purple etc Not sure if this is possible, but it might be a cool idea

I'm not against some periodic table's elements too as it can be cool too :p
chinesse/japanese could be cool but I think with the most european community it is less accurate

The chinese/japanese symbols would just add some mysterie to our clan. It would also be a reference to our roots: Nexuiz. This because nexuiz actually had the chinese symbol for strenght as their logo.
